Dresser Rand Air Compressor

A full air compressor modeled for the Navy from Transtecs. I was the project lead for this particular air compressor. This involved modeling most of the parts as well as assembling additional pieces made by other artists. I decided to focus on the crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons for a few images to highlight a section I made all the models for.

Just like the engine I previously uploaded, the materials were kept very basic on purpose as the model will be used in the NGrain software which only takes standard materials.
